Student Housing Waiting List in Aachen

Hi everyone, I've been on the waiting list for student housing through the Studierendenwerk in Aachen for over two years now. As you can see from the attached screenshot, I'm waiting for several different housing options. My question is: Is it really necessary to stay on this list, or is there a quicker way to secure a room? If anyone is planning to leave their room soon and would be willing to transfer their spot to me, I would greatly appreciate it. After two years of waiting, I’m eager to find a place!
